Plant Water Recycle Project:
Middle East’s 1st Plant Water Recycle Project with the cost of over USD 11 million to recycle 245 millions gallons of water annually. The project has the objectives to recover 80% of EQUATE process water; reuse the recovered water as makeup for EQUATE water; reduce the distilled water intake annually by 20% to 32%; build new irrigation piping network inside EQUATE and make it available to be used by 2012; and treat 50 m3/h of EQUATE storm water and make it suitable for irrigation.
The Green Carbon Project:
Kuwait’s first Green Carbon Project for carbon dioxide recovery valued at over USD 65 million with the capacity of 150,000 tons annually. The Green Carbon Project is aimed at developing and encourage local innovative industrial business opportunities, supporting the economy by creating added-value for downstream industries in Kuwait, ,inimizing EQAUET plant CO2 emissions, as well as providing greencarbon Company with 450 t/day of CO2 for downstream industries. |
