Process safety
Process Safety is an important and vital discipline that ensures
the well-being and safety of all EQUATE's employees and neighbours.
The policies, procedures and systems forming part of our Process
Safety Program are developed and implemented by the Process
Safety Committee, which also review operational and maintenance
units to identify and address issues as they arise. These include:
A. Process safety audits
B. Process hazard risk analysis revalidations
C. Layer of protection analysis
D. Root cause analysis investigations following an accident/incident
In addition to Operational Safety, the Environment, Health &
Safety Department oversees the Product Safety Program to ensure
that our many customers receive safe, reliable products with
no adverse effect to their health, safety or the environment.
