Facilities
The functions of R&D are primarily optimizing EQUATE product
cost/performance, responding to customers' technical needs including
resolving technical complaints. Major activities of R&D
are:
- Defining technical needs of the market place
- Conducting development programs to meet the growth needs of
the business
- Evaluating technical needs of applied technologies in the
marketplace and establishing performance specifications of
our products
- Providing new application and processing technology for all
products, drawing on its technical capabilities as well as
those of other functional groups
- Maintaining a climate of technical acceptance of our products
at appropriate regulatory agencies and other specifying influences
Providing counsel to the business with respect to technical
market feasibility, cost and scheduling of proposed programs
- Training of EQUATE personnel and customers in technology of
our products and their processing
- Providing technical information to various functions regarding
EQUATE and competitive products necessary to maintain strong
market position
- Recognizing and responding to customers' needs proactively
and when product problems occur
- Assessing the HS&E aspects of handling, use and disposal
of our products by taking in to account their specific applications
R&D is fully equipped to evaluate EQUATE products' performance
comprising testing of liquids and polymers as raw materials
as well as end products. The facilities include state of the
