Corporate Social Responsibility

Giving Back to our Community

EQUATE's corporate social responsibility program is our commitment of our business to contribute to sustainable economic development, working with employees, their families, the local community and society at large to improve their quality of life.

It includes: human rights, employee rights, environmental protection, supplier relations, business ethics, corporate governance & accountability and marketplace issues.

Why are we doing this?

What is becoming increasingly important in the corporate world is not only the bottom-line, or financial corporate earnings, but also the triple-bottom line. This refers to the corporate commitment to be a responsible citizen of the world around us, thinking not only of turning a profit, but also about how to give back to the community in which we operate.

This is why EQUATE's CSR program attempts to offer long term business benefits to the EQUATE community and their families while making a positive contribution to the development of Kuwaiti society.
