EQUATE Group Reaffirms Commitment to Strengthening Partnership with India

Kuwait City, September 3, 2025 – The EQUATE Group, a global producer of petrochemicals, has reaffirmed its long-standing commitment to strengthening economic and industrial partnerships with the Republic of India.

For nearly three decades, EQUATE has proudly contributed to the growth and advancement of India’s textile industry by delivering trusted products and services that have become integral to the sector’s success. This enduring collaboration extends beyond commercial engagement, reflecting a shared vision of sustainable progress and mutual prosperity.

In recent years, bilateral relations between the State of Kuwait and the Republic of India have advanced significantly, with trade crossing USD 10 billion in 2024–2025. This deepening partnership is built upon a legacy of friendship, cooperation, and goodwill, and has evolved into resilient economic ties. These bonds were further reinforced during the official visit of the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, to the State of Kuwait in December 2024, at the invitation of His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Amir of the State of Kuwait.

Following this milestone visit, Kuwait and India have elevated their traditional bilateral ties into a comprehensive strategic partnership, encompassing geopolitical, economic, and social dimensions.

In this context, His Excellency Mr. Meshal Mustafa Al-Shemali, Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to the Republic of India, recently met with EQUATE representatives, including Mr. Ahmad Saud Al-Saleh, Global Business Director, and Mr. Kamlesh Parwani, Regional Commercial Director. The discussions focused on reinforcing trade and economic cooperation between the two countries, with an emphasis on unlocking new opportunities for sustainable growth.

“EQUATE has been a long-standing partner of India’s thriving man-made textile industry, and we remain deeply committed to supporting its continued success. Our collaboration with India goes beyond commerce—it embodies EQUATE’s mission to drive shared economic progress while advancing innovation and sustainability. This milestone reinforces our vision of being a true ‘Partner in Success’ with stakeholders worldwide, and reaffirms our role in building a future of growth, prosperity, and resilience,” said Mr. Al-Saleh.

Looking forward, the EQUATE Group remains committed to deepening its collaboration with Indian partners and to advancing opportunities that strengthen trade relations, promote mutual prosperity, and contribute to the sustainable future of both nations.
