Wafa Al Othman is the Manager of Corporate Planning at Petrochemical Industries Company (PIC), where she oversees corporate strategy, performance management, and business development initiatives.
Al Othman has over 25 years of experience in the oil, gas, and petrochemical industries. She began her career at Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) in Corporate Planning, contributing to strategy formulation, competitor analysis, and the rollout of KPC’s performance management system. She later joined Energy House Holding as Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Senior Manager for Asset Management, where she was responsible for oil and gas planning, investment strategies, and asset management. In 2016, she became Team Leader for Strategic Planning at Kuwait Integrated Petroleum Industries Company (KIPIC), leading the function during the company’s establishment and playing a key role in the commissioning of the Al Zour Refinery and LNG terminal. She subsequently moved to PIC as Team Leader for Business Development before assuming her current role as Manager of Corporate Planning.
Al Othman holds a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Kuwait University, graduating with top honors.
