EQUATE names Reimer Hasche as VP Operations

EQUATE Petrochemical Company announced the appointment of Reimer Hasche as its new Vice President Operations.

Hasche, a German national, brings to EQUATE over 20 years of experience at The Dow Chemical Company in various production and improvement leadership responsibilities. His recent assignments included leadership roles and spearheading major production facilities in Germany.

His responsibilities at EQUATE will include heading the company’s production units, maintenance functions and other relevant matters.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from one of Germany’s prestigious institutes.

Hasche succeeded Nick Vossenberg who has served EQUATE for over 6 years and has recently retired.

Considered one of the world’s leading companies in producing Polyethylene and Ethylene Glycol, EQUATE was established in 1995 and it is presently a joint venture between Petrochemical Industries Company (PIC), The Dow Chemical Company, Boubyan Petrochemicals Company and Qurain Petrochemical Industries Company.

It commenced production in 1997 and currently provides markets in the Middle East, Asia, Africa and Europe with high quality petrochemical products.
