Engineering faculty honors EQUATE

Kuwait University’s College of Engineering and Petroleum honored EQUATE Petrochemical Company during a banquet hosted for engineering bodies collaborating with the faculty during academic year 2007-2008.

EQUATE was honored by the college’s Dean Dr. Taher Al-Sahhaf in appreciation for organizing and hosting scientific tours to its facilities by the faculty’s students, especially from the Chemical Engineering Department, during academic year 2006-2007. The tours reflected the amount of cooperation and coordination between the two organizations.

Representing EQUATE at the celebration was its Vice-President for Technical Services Mahmoud Al-Qattan, as well as a number of department heads who were honored for their contribution in facilitating the students’ field visits to EQUATE.

Earlier in March, EQUATE and the college signed a Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) to strengthen and boost ties in academic and industrial fields.
