EQUATE Petrochemical Company, Kuwait’s first international joint-venture in this industry, honored the Public Authority for Industry (PAI) for its continuous support and cooperation.
During the ceremony to honor PAI, EQUATE Vice President for Technical Services Tareq Jafar Al-Kandari said, “Our overall ties with PAI have truly been a reflection of EQUATE’s ‘Partners in Success’ slogan. Throughout the years, PAI has truly been a partner for EQUATE in all relevant fields, especially during our Turnaround 2014 (TA 2014). The amount of support and collaboration from PAI has enabled EQUATE to finalize the TA 2014 within 30-days with the participation of over 12,000 employees and contractors. That is truly a world-record breaking achievement for petrochemical plants and was done through the support of our stakeholders, especially the PAI. In conclusion, I would like to take this opportunity to express EQUATE’s appreciation and thanks to PAI’s management and staff for sharing and supporting our objectives for overall sustainability throughout Kuwait, namely the industrial sector.”
The celebration was attended by several representatives from PAI and EQUATE. PAI’s attendees included the Manager of Cooling Water Stations Mohammad Al-Adwani, Cooling Water Stations Advisor Yousef Al-Kandari, Section Head of Mechanical Maintenance Meshari Al-Anzi, Section Head of Electrical Maintenance Yousef Al-Mulla, Section Head of Operations Walid Al-Fadhli, Senior Specialist for Operations Mustafa Isamil and Mechanical Specialist Ahmed Dashti. In addition to Al-Kandari, EQUATE was represented by Utilities Leader Mohammad Al-Mutairi, Procurement Director Muayad Al-Faresi, Corporate Communications Leader Kholoud Al-Feeli, Utilities Operations Leader Mohammad Al-Ali, Senior Production Engineer Paneerselvam Senthilkumar, Senior Production Engineer Shaikhah Al-Hasawi, Production Engineer Fahad Al-Hajri and Production Engineer Jasem Al-Temimi.
