Chairman of Qurain Petrochemical Industries Company, Sheikh / Mubarak Abdulla Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah along with the board of directors visited the plants of EQUATE Petrochemicals Company in the Shuaiba Industrial Area on Wednesday, November 23rd, 2005. They were accompanied by Executive Assistant to the Managing Director for Manufacturing of Petrochemical Industries Company.
They were received by Mr. Hamad Al-Terkait, CEO of EQUATE Petrochemicals Company and vice presidents for commercial, technical services, operations and finance as well as several department managers at the various EQUATE plants.
Mr. Al-Terkait then made presentation of EQUATE’s vision, and enumerated the achievements made over the past years in the fields of environment, health and safety, successive profits and production and viewed the role played by EQUATE in the field of national manpower support and development through its current and future projects. Mr. Al-Terkait also highlighted the various projects in progress, such as the projects that are being carried out in participation with the private sectors and the future expansion of the company’s operations and as an example of that the new partnership of Qurain Petrochemical Industries Company with EQUATE by 6% in most of these projects.
EQUATE’s guests then toured the company’s facilities and plants, witnessing this advanced civilized edifice which reflects the government’s vision and trend toward diversifying the sources of income, encouraging foreign investment and promoting participation by the Kuwaiti private sector.
