Kuwait – June 8 – 2011 — EQUATE Petrochemical Company announced launching its new state of the art website (www.equate.com) distinguished with its dynamic and interactive content while providing an abundance of information about the company and its business.

On this occasion, EQUATE Senior Executive Corporate Communications & Client Affairs Adel Al-Munifi said, “The new website serves as an excellent platform for the public to get to know EQUATE much better. It also provides our visitors online with specific and detailed information on our products, services and important aspects of our business.”

Al-Munifi added, “The site incorporates an upgraded e-recruitment portal which allows visitors to search for jobs at EQUATE and post their resume online. We are committed to developing our digital communication activities in line with market and customer evolving trends within a context of mutual added-value.”

In addition to the new website, EQUATE is present on the main social networks, such as twitter and facebook, which are utilized to keep the public updated and informed about EQUATE in a timely manner.

Established in 1995, EQUATE is an international joint venture between Petrochemical Industries Company (PIC), The Dow Chemical Company (Dow), Boubyan Petrochemical Company (BPC) and Qurain Petrochemical Industries Company (QPIC). Commencing production in 1997, EQUATE is the single operator of a fully integrated world-scale manufacturing facility producing over 5 million tons annually of high-quality petrochemical products which are marketed throughout the Middle East, Asia, Africa and Europe.
