Kuwait -November 11 – 2013 — EQUATE Petrochemical Company announced its sponsorship of Boca Juniors Academy special needs football training course.
On this occasion, EQUATE VP for Technical Services and head of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program Mohammad Al Benali said, “Individuals with special needs represent a very important segment of the Kuwaiti society and supporting them through all possible means to achieve their objectives should never be underestimated. As EQUATE supports this athletic initiative, it mainly aspires to implement its ‘Partners in Success’ tagline with BOCA Juniors Football Academy and all relevant stakeholders through utilizing athletic activities to educate and rehabilitate persons with special needs, as well as interact with their families to ensure benefiting all sides.”
On his part, Marketing Manager at Boca Juniors Kuwait Imad Hammoud said, “Sport activities in general and football in particular represent a set of social networking tools, every child has the right to enjoy Sports activities regardless of mental or physical abilities. Based on CSR which represented a mutual significant value between BOCA Juniors and EQUATE, the special needs football training course was launched. Sport is for everyone, and every child has the right to enjoy sports and belong to a team in which he can discover his abilities and actively explore the world around him. Such a matter has proven its validity as training sessions form a mean for children with special needs to properly and positively utilize their energy. Boca Juniors is the most popular club in Argentina was founded on April 3rd 1905 at La Boca, Buenos Aires Argentina. Boca Juniors Football Academy was launched in Kuwait on April 2011. It brought the Argentinean football experience to Kuwait in order to develop football strategies and refine promising talents.
Boca Juniors Academy operates from Salmiya Sports Club and offers an integrated football training season (Sep to June) for children 4 – 14 years old by expert Argentinean coaches certified by Boca Juniors Argentina.
