EQUATE’s MM leader achieves Six Sigma

EQUATE’s Materials Management (MM) Leader Ahmad Al-Saleh was awarded the Six Sigma award for Benefit Measurements of Global Trading reporting in Dow.

The award was presented to Al-Saleh in Dow’s India Middle East Africa (IMEA) corporate office in Dubai by Dow’s Basic Chemicals President Earl Shipp, IMEA President John Dearborn, as well as Global Trading & IMEA Purchasing Leader Thomas Puschmann.

Both Shipp and Dearborn are members of EQUATE’s board.

Before becoming EQUATE’s MM leader in August 2008, Al-Saleh was seconded for two years as a Strategic Sourcing/Purchasing Manager to Dow’s Global Trading & Low Cost Country Sourcing (LCCS) team at Horgen, Switzerland.
