Dr. Issam Lazraq was named Senior Vice President of EQUATE Group in August 2025.

Previously the Global Sustainable Feedstocks Director for Dow’s Feedstocks & Commodities business, Dr. Lazraq led the company’s Scope 3 greenhouse gas emissions reduction program. Since joining Dow in 2008, his career has included leadership roles in Commercial, Business Development, Sales, Marketing, and Global Strategy, as well as strategic collaborations with global partners.

Dr. Lazraq holds a PhD in Natural Sciences from the University of Dortmund, an MSc in Molecular Chemistry from the University of Rennes, and a BSc in Physical Chemistry from the University of Rabat. He has completed executive programs in Finance, Strategy, and Business Management at IMD, Columbia Business School, IESE, and Yale School of Management, including the Advanced Management Program at IESE in 2022. He is also a certified Six Sigma Green Belt Project Leader.
